Alright, I've been thinking of a side-project to work on. It won't be a complete story, but scenes that follow a girl (and later on maybe a boy) through their lives (starting from baby and going until death) about how she struggles with her own, independent thoughts in a world where the people are not allowed to think. Her parents, friends, teachers, bosses are very concerned with behavior and it later causes her much trouble to the point where she loses those she is ever close to.
So, this is just an idea that popped into my head a couple nights ago while I was trying to get to sleep (hah...it ended up keeping me awake longer...stupid over-active imagination).
Anyway, tell me what you think

I already have a few scene ideas in my noggin, but suggestions would be very much appreciated ^^

Okay- I LOVE this idea..... To describe it almost sounds (loosely) like a "day in the life" of a character from "Equilibrim"
(Of course, I know you character/idea will be your own)
So, please do write it- I'm EXTREMELY intriged by the synaps, and would like to learn more.

If inspiration you seek, find it within your heart, within your soul... Not your mind. What you see, what you write, will become real!

I'm interested to see how this story of yours pans out. So far is seems like you've got the foundation for a good story.
I'll probably put up cases to where people die in horrible accidents or "go on vacation" and never come back when they are caught thinking too much.
