So, recently I've been working on a new story called Ashes to Ashes for my sister, Steffany. I'm posting it here to try to get myself into a groove of updating so that I finish it within a reasonable amount of time. I made this story to go into a little detail about the vampires of my story, if anyone is interested.

My "vampires" are called Malvirs and are divided into two groups. There are the Malvirians and the Virgals. The Malvirians are your typical "bad guys" and kill for fun. They live in villages of their own kind and go on group killing sprees. They are the majority. The Virgals just want to fit in with society and never kill unless their life is threatened. They are wanderers, and only about 18% of all Malvirs are Virgals.

In this story, the Malvirs do not need to feed on human blood to survive. However, the Malvirians feed on humans for fun instead of survival. The humans could easily wipe out all of the vampires, because there are many more of them than the Malvirs. The Malvirians are very aware of this little detail so they are constantly attacking human cities and villages to make them fear the Malvir. The humans do not realize that they can wipe them out, nor do they know the Malvirs' biggest weakness, which will be revealed later.
